Outside Yunkai, Daenerys , her advisors and her Unsullied army stand ready to greet the slaves of the city and free them. When they arrive, Missandei (Nathalie Emmanuel) tells them that Daenerys has freed them, but Daenerys tells the slaves that only they can take their freedom back. The crowd begins to chant "mhysa", which Missandei tells Daenerys is Ghiscari for "mother." Daenerys passes her army to walk amongst the freed slaves, who lift her to their shoulders. Daenerys smiles and looks up into the sky as her dragons fly freely.

Dany is good and young in books her problem is that she do not replace slavery with nothing and people are forced to starve because she destroyed slaves who sued to feed them she just need to figure out what to replace it with
This was Dany’s true legacy. The final season destroyed her.
Why everyone is talking about Jon Snow having kids with her ? He's dead. In the books, he's still dead. And GRR Martin doesn't like to ressurect characters just like that. There is Catlyn Stark, who is now Lady Stoneheart but for principals characters that's all. The show became crap when it stop following the book. Season 5 had some ideas even if not correctly put in the show, season 6 no. It was "beautiful" to watch, but wasn't GOT anymore. And let's not talk about 7 and 8.

There is a great mystery here. Maester Luwin was stabbed in the courtyard but managed to dragged himself, mortally injured as he was, to the Weirwood tree of the godswood. He must have been in great pain and yet he had some powerful motivation to drag himself into the godswood and to die under the Heart Tree. I think after Bran's visions and the dream that both he and Rickon had pertaining to Lord Eddard's death, he must have finally have become a believer in the magic of the Old Gods and House Stark.

this show ended in season 4 for me.

It’s been fuckin years and I still can’t help but feel furious for how they ruined her character. They shouldn’t of gone past season 4
She should have gotten the iron throne hbo ruined it the changes they made before we were atleast tolerable but the end and making her go mad was just not something anyone can accept

The writers had/have serious personal mental issues . if you create an adored hero and dont allow that hero to fulfill their density then there is no hero . the writers had no basic concepts of relative life on earth and what brings joy to people and what doesn't . they thought they were being clever by giving the viewer one last shock at the end with no chance of mental or emotional completeness . when two people are making love , does one person kill the other before both climax ? no normal person would do this but the writers of GOT most certainly would . idiots on a galactic size scale .
A bit late, imagine a different ending wherein they push the mad queen plot, but not killing dany. Just a shot of dany sitting on the iron throne with madness in her eyes. She gave everything she has and left with nothing… i think thats a much more poetic ending if they push with that plot. She started with nothing, and ended up with everything she wanted but deep inside she lost much more meaningful meaning of life itself, she just that fire a little too closely. Which also ties up with their saying fire and blood.
Luwin went into the wood, the weirwood trees, as one of the old gods
the true Daenerys. not whatever season 8 made her out to be.

Oh stop talking nonsense. Really? Those two guys gave you seven perfect seasons and - yes - one that didn't live up to expectations. And you are here to speak against them, even after they gave you scenes to which your'e referring as a good writing. Grow up.
Adult here. Those two guys completely ruined what otherwise would have been one of the best series so far. Yes, they did brilliant work. Then, instead of finishing it brilliantly, they cut it short and destroyed what they had created.
